Subscription & Refund Policy

This policy explains how subscriptions, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work for the Canuck-Tax.ca platform (the "Service"), operated by ElevareAI Inc. It forms part of our Terms of Service.


1. Plans

We offer a free plan with limited functionality and paid plans billed monthly or annually. We may modify the features of any plan with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

2. Pricing and Taxes

  • All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
  • The prices shown are the base cost. We do not charge hidden service, convenience, or processing fees.
  • Applicable sales taxes (such as GST/HST) are calculated based on your province of residence and added at checkout.

3. Automatic Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period so your access is not interrupted. Before an annual subscription renews, we will send you a renewal reminder by email at least 30 days in advance.

4. Easy Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time, directly through your account settings — no phone call or email required. When you cancel:

  • Future billing stops;
  • You keep access until the end of your current paid period;
  • After your paid period ends, a 7-day reactivation window applies before your account is deactivated.

5. Refunds

  • 10-day cooling-off period: if you cancel within 10 days of your initial purchase and you have not yet generated your tax calculation results, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Once results are generated: because this is a digital service, once you have generated or viewed your final tax calculation results, the service is considered delivered and the purchase is non-refundable.
  • Annual plans: annual plans may be eligible for a pro-rated refund only in the case of a documented technical failure on our part.

6. Price Changes

We may change our prices. For active subscribers, any price increase will take effect only at the start of your next billing cycle, and we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email.

7. Free Plan

The free plan is provided "as is" and "as available," with limited functionality and no guarantee of support or uptime.
